Modulate? Learn more about it!

On October 10th, my album 'Modulate' will hit stores, but what is the album, what does it sound like, and what inspired it? Well I hope you're interested to learn, because here we go.

What is Modulate?

Modulate is my 2nd wave of songs to hit stores, this one being my first album ever! It will release October 10th at midnight for all you EST folks. It was first thought of when I was in a Discord call with my friends and wanted to make something a little more electric. Speaking of electric...

What will Modulate sound like?

My inspiration for Modulates sound was all over the place. I was inspired by ambient/lo-fi songs seen in the Donkey Kong Country game and from songs such as HOME - Resonance. It also took inspiration from my old chip tune works, which you might not know even exist if you haven't been around for long. I'd say I'm quite good at chip tune, but I wanted something more personalized for commercial stores than just straight video game music.

Will we get sneak peeks before release?

Just like Old Blades, Modulate will have sneak peeks before release. They show up on my Twitter, if you're interested in hearing what's coming out. I'll link to the only current sneak peak available currently here.

Anything else?

Modulate is solely composed of simple waveforms, in which, the ones I chose were:

• Sine

• Triangle

• Pulse

• Square

• Sawtooth

The first 5 songs in the album will be made only of one type of waveform, in which, the other 4 are mixes of all waveforms. Modulate will not be for pre-order, mainly because that feature was completely unused on Old Blades, but if demand comes back I'll have pre-orders on my new works.
